Abstract

During the last five years, gender empowerment in Tulungagung has continued to increase. Success in the field of women's empowerment can be seen from the increase in IDG in Tulungagung Regency from 63.95 in 2017 to 65.06 in 2021. This increase in numbers shows the level of gender empowerment in Indonesia, especially Tulungagung Regency, is heading in a better direction. During the 2017-2021 period, the IDG of Tulungagung Regency grew on average by 0.45 percentage points per year. However, during the last two years the IDG in Tulungagung has decreased. The IDG of Tulungagung Regency in 2020 was recorded at 65.84 or decreased by 0.78 percentage points, slowing down compared to the previous year's growth. As for the achievements in 2021, the IDG of Tulungagung Regency reached 65.06 points or decreased by 1.18 percentage points compared to 2020.
