Abstract

In June 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Tulungagung Regency of 2.05 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.58. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in some expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.80 percent; the personal care and other services group by 4.55 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.55 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.69 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.66 percent; and the transportation group by 0.17 percent. The education group and health group did not experience significant changes in the price index, while the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.41 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.54 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group by 1.20 percent.
